Our Mission Statement
The mission of the organization is to raise funds to fight cancer, primarily breast cancer, through early diagnosis, genetic counseling, development of new treatments, and basic research complimenting all of the above modalities. Monetary grants are made to Hospitals, Medical Schools, and Research Institutions to accomplish the mission.
MORGAN'S STORY
Breast cancer has been a part of my life since I was 11 years old. That's when my parents sat my sister (8), my brother (6) and me down at the kitchen table and Dad told us our mother was sick. They were trying to explain to three little kids that their mother has a life-threatening illness, and we just didn't understand. My mom, Kathy Krickstein Pressel, was 39 that day. Four years later, breast cancer took her from us.

Even before I became a professional golfer, I knew I wanted to help raise money for research and early detection. Seventeen years ago I started the Morgan & Friends Fight Cancer Tournament, which is played every January at St. Andrews CC in Boca Raton, Florida. Our efforts continue to grow, and now we host three major fundraising events - at St. Andrews CC, Banyan GC and Woodmont CC.

With the help of our incredible donors, we have raised over $12.7 million to fight breast cancer, in South Florida and beyond. We work with Boca Raton Regional Hospital on two major
projects, The Morgan Pressel Center for Cancer Genetics and The Kathryn Krickstein Pressel Mammovan, which put an emphasis on early detection, accessibility, community outreach and research. In the Washington, DC metro area, we have created a nurse navigator role with Medstar Health to provide the underserved community a helping hand to navigating the complex medical system and increase the number of women receiving their annual mammograms through greater access.
